01Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and [Legal entity name] ("Halcira", "we", "us"). They cover the Halcira website, dashboard, trading engine and any related software (together, the "Service").
By creating an account, connecting a trading venue or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, our Cookie Policy and our Risk Disclosure. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
02What Halcira is, and isn't
Halcira is software. It watches markets that list the same event on different venues (for example Kalshi and Polymarket US), shows you when buying opposite sides would cost less than the guaranteed payout, and can place those orders on accounts you connect.
Your orders are placed directly on the venues you choose, under your own accounts, and are governed by those venues' rules.
03Who can use Halcira
- You must be at least 18 years old, and old enough to enter into a binding contract and trade event contracts where you live.
- Prediction markets and event contracts are restricted or prohibited in some countries, states and regions. You are responsible for making sure that you're allowed to use each venue you connect and for following that venue's eligibility rules.
- You must not use the Service to get around a venue's geographic, identity or eligibility restrictions, for example by using a VPN or someone else's account.
- You must not use the Service if you are subject to sanctions or listed on a government restricted-party list.
04Your account and API keys
To trade, you connect venue accounts using API keys or similar credentials that you create on each venue.
- Keep your Halcira login and your venue credentials secure. Use the narrowest permissions a venue offers, and never enable withdrawals on keys you connect.
- Any order placed through your connected credentials is treated as your order, whether you placed it by hand or the engine placed it under your settings.
- Tell us right away at the contact address below if you think your account or keys have been compromised, and revoke the keys at the venue.
How credentials are stored is described in the Privacy Policy.
05Automated trading and auto-execute
When auto-execute is on, the engine can place orders on your connected accounts without asking you first, as long as an opportunity meets the minimum edge, depth and risk limits you have set.
- You control these settings and you're responsible for them. Review your limits before turning auto-execute on, and check them regularly.
- Automated orders can fail, fill only on one side, fill at worse prices than shown, or be delayed by venue or network problems. The engine tries to hedge a one-sided fill, but a hedge can cost money and is not guaranteed.
- You can turn auto-execute off at any time. Orders already sent to a venue may still fill.
06Halcira app, the betting bot
The Halcira app is an optional Windows app that places real sports bets on your own Novig account, using Novig's official API (with keys you create on Novig) or, as a backup, Novig's website in a browser on your PC. It picks bets from the +EV prices Halcira shows.
- You decide how it runs. In Manual, nothing is placed until you press Place bet. In Auto, it places bets by itself within the limits you set. Every bet it places is your bet, under your Novig account and Novig's rules.
- It never spends more than your stake. Through the API it uses fill-or-kill orders: filled right away at your price or better, or not at all. It skips a bet if the price has moved below your floor, if the game is about to start, or if anything is unclear.
- Limits are yours. Daily staking, open stake and loss caps stop it for the day. Review them before you start live betting.
- Eligibility. You must be allowed to bet on Novig where you are. Novig checks your location; the Halcira app doesn't get around that and must not be used to.
- It can fail. Prices, data feeds, Novig, your PC or your connection can be wrong, slow or down. If the Halcira app can't tell whether a bet went through, it pauses and asks you.
Novig is an independent third party and isn't affiliated with Halcira. The Halcira app is BETA. See the Risk Disclosure.
07No advice and no guaranteed results
Everything in the Service, including edges, figures, charts, examples and anything labeled "locked" or "guaranteed payout", is information for you to evaluate. It is not financial, investment, legal or tax advice.
We don't promise any profit. Opportunities can vanish before orders fill, venues can settle the "same" event differently, and fees and slippage can wipe out an edge. Figures marked as sample data are illustrations, not real performance. Please read the Risk Disclosure.
08Fees
Venues charge their own trading, deposit, withdrawal and network fees. You pay those to the venue directly. They reduce or remove an edge.
Pricing for Halcira itself, if any, is shown before you subscribe: [Plan names, prices, billing cycle, renewal and refund terms]. Unless the law where you live says otherwise, fees already paid are non-refundable.
09Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for market manipulation, wash trading, spoofing, front-running, trading on material non-public information, or anything else a venue's rules or the law prohibit;
- overload, scrape or abuse venue APIs through the Service, or break a venue's rate limits or terms;
- copy, resell, reverse engineer or build a competing product from the Service, except where the law allows it;
- try to get into accounts, systems or data that aren't yours, or interfere with the security of the Service;
- use the Service for money laundering, terrorist financing, sanctions evasion or any other illegal purpose.
10Third-party venues and services
Kalshi, Polymarket US, sportsbooks, crypto exchanges, wallets and stablecoin issuers are independent third parties. Their own terms govern your accounts with them, and we're not responsible for their actions, outages, rule changes, settlement decisions, insolvency or freezes on your funds.
Venue and product names are used only to identify them. Halcira isn't affiliated with or endorsed by any venue unless we say so.
11Beta and coming-soon features
Features marked BETA or SOON may be incomplete, change without notice or be removed. Use beta features with extra care and smaller amounts.
12Intellectual property
We and our licensors own the Service, including its software, design, text and branding. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use the Service under these Terms.
Your strategies, settings and data remain yours. You give us permission to process them only as needed to run the Service, as described in the Privacy Policy. If you send us feedback, we may use it without owing you anything.
13Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We don't warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, or that prices, edges or other data are accurate or current.
14Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Halcira and its owners, staff and suppliers won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for trading losses, lost profits, missed opportunities, lost data or venue failures, arising from or related to the Service.
Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or [USD 100].
Some places don't allow certain limits on liability, so some of the above may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that the law says cannot be limited.
15Indemnity
You agree to defend and indemnify Halcira against claims, losses and costs (including reasonable legal fees) that arise from your use of the Service, your trading, your breach of these Terms or a venue's terms, or your breach of the law.
16Suspension and termination
You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms, if the law or a venue requires it, or if your use creates risk for us or others. Where reasonable, we'll tell you first.
When access ends, the engine stops placing new orders. Positions you already hold stay on the venues and are yours to manage. The sections that by their nature should survive will survive, including disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity and governing law.
17Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms. If a change is material, we'll give notice in the Service or by email before it takes effect. If you keep using the Service after a change takes effect, you accept the new Terms.
18Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of [Governing law: state / country], without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in [courts / arbitration body and seat].
If you're a consumer, you may also have rights under the law of the country you live in, and nothing here takes those rights away.
